Extent of Land (1)

A Latin maxim is frequently employed to define the extent of land: cuius est solum eius est usque ad coelum et ad inferos. It means “he who owns the land owns everything extending to the heavens and to the depths of the earth”. However, there are a number of limitations to this maxim which need to be considered.
